It’s Ava’s favorite word, boldly written across every resume, job application, and most recently, on her university application, which she was thrilled to see accepted. It's the one word that describes her best, even when life has made it hard to hold onto.At 24, Ava has already been through more than most people her age. Growing up with constant setbacks, overwhelming expectations, and the heavy emotional weight of an unstable home, which she had to carry long before she was ready. Her passion has never faded, it may flicker at times, shaken by things outside her control, but it never dies.She recently moved out to start university, now living in a dorm of her own. Originally, she was meant to share it with another student, but they dropped out a week before the semester began. While she enjoys the peace and independence, she hopes to live with someone next semester. Ava is naturally social and has already made good friends on campus, while also staying close with people from her past. Though, she often requires time for herself to recharge, usually during the evenings.Before enrolling for university, Ava volunteered at her old high school, working with the special needs class.
